WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ.

We believe that man is sinful by nature of The Fall and that the only means of salvation is through repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

WORSHIP WITH US

Sunday Worship Service

Your worship experience with us on Sunday mornings begins when you enter the parking lot. There are plenty of parking spaces available on-site, with preference given to guests and those with accessibility needs. You will be greeted by our loving community of greeters, security team members and others as you enter The ARC. Printed programs with detailed information are provided for your convenience.

Don’t forget to visit our Connection Corner to check out ministry resources, events and service opportunities.

Praise & Worship, Prayer & Announcements

Our service begins at 10:30am with a 5-minute “Countdown to Worship” as the Relevant Praise Team prepares to lead the congregation into the presence of God with a prayerfully selected blend of songs that range from contemporary to gospel, are mutli-generational and are easy to sing. PowerPoint screens are provided to help you follow along and all are encouraged to participate in this time of singing praises to the Lord.

Praise and Worship is immediately followed by a brief prayer, scripture reading and announcements before the weekly offering is received.

Tithes & Offerings at Relevant

We believe that God loves a cheerful giver (II Corinthians 9:7) and that the bringing of the tithe and offering is a time of great joy! It is a form of worship that should be observed by believers, members and regular attendees of our church. GUESTS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE, but you are welcome to do so should the Lord lay it on your heart to do so. After corporate recital of our Giving Creed, the tithe & offering is received in a basket located on a table just in front of the pulpit (lectern) at the front. Those participating in the tithe & offering are welcome to bring them forward once the invitation is given. Offering envelopes are provided in the programs for those giving by cash or checks. A kiosk is available for electronic giving at the Connection Corner near the entrance for your convenience, and you can always give online. (Click here)

The Word

The offering is immediately followed by a brief prayer of blessing and dismissal of our children and youth. (if applicable) A “sermonic” selection is presented by the Relevant Praise Team just before the pastor comes forward with the message.

The message normally last about 45-50 minutes and are accompanied by notes (provided in your program or at the Connection Corner) and a PowerPoint presentation to help you follow along with the sermon.

The Altar Call

We don’t like to close our services without presenting the Gospel message of Salvation. You will be given an opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior at the close of the message. This process will vary from week to week as our pastors/teachers are led by the Spirit.

The Benediction & Prayer

Once the Altar Call is presented and the opportunity is given, there will be a closing prayer referred to as a benediction. It usually includes a pronounced blessing over the congregation and a plea for safe travels. Once completed, an invitation for personal prayer will be extended to all those interested and the congregation will be dismissed. Prayer team members will be available up front to pray with you.

When You Leave

Upon your exit, you will be greeted by our pastor. If you are a first time guest and have completed a Connection Card (available in your program or at the Connection Corner) or online (Click here), you will receive a gift from our pastor and church as a token of our appreciation. Our Care Team will use the information you provide to follow up with you about your visit in the following week.
